Though President West's health has been very poor the last couple of years, Sister West passes away earlier this week before him. Her obituary appeared in yesterday morning's Chicago Tribune.

E. Geraldine West, of Arlington Heights, beloved wife of Owen D. West
Jr.; loving mother of Owen Daniel III (Doreen), Celestia Anne (Doug)
Himstreet, Melinda Ruth (Ken) Baugh and Brian David (Ginny); loved
grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of two; sister of Stephen and Linda.
Funeral Service 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004 at The Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2035 N. Winsor Dr., Arlington Heights.
Visitation Monday, Oct. 11, 2004 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Glueckert
Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks south of
Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at church. Burial will
be in Pleasant Grove, UT. Geraldine lived a life of selfless service to
her family, church and community. In lieu of flowers, donations may be
given to Chicago Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle St., Suite 900,
