| Comments: Hi Folks; I served form 1/77 to 12/78. Loved Pres. Cooley, the mission and had a great experience. Stayed in Utah after my mission. I went to work after my mission for CES for 22 years as a seminary teacher, principal and institute director. The last four years of my career with CES, I served as a Clinical Chaplain in Utah’s juvenile prison system. Now, I am the principal and director of a public K-9th charter school in Pleasant Grove, Utah. My oldest son has just been called to the Pittsburg, PA Mission and leaves March 8th, 2006. I also work as a Clinical Director in an EAP clinic and teach at the University level as an adjunct professor of psychology and counseling. I am presently writing my second dissertation and finishing my second doctorate. As far as church callings they have been various and fulfilling. My favorite has been Gospel Doctrine teacher. I served for years in several bishoprics, as bishop and in the stake presidency. Now, I am the High Priest instructor-nice calling-not to demanding. I must confess that I have not attended one reunion. For most of them, I have been on assignment outside of Utah building CES programs in the Northwest and Southeast. However, I have heard from President and Sister Cooley frequently. Thanks to all of you whom I served with. | |
