Lived in Houston, TX for 26 years & worked as a Travel Consultant for 25 of those years. I’ve been self employed since 1991. For the past 5 years I’ve worked as a Health & Wellness Consultant; still doing some travel business on the side.
The light and joy of my life - my children; Julian (22) & Anastasia (21). Their father (a nonmember I met during the 6 years I was inactive) deserted us when Julian was 19 months old & Anastasia 6 months. I figured that was a good time to get back to church and straighten out my life, so I did. I’ve been active ever since.
Julian’s home from his mission (Michigan Lansing Mission) & married in the temple to Jeni Bowen of Excelsior Springs, MO (RM the Ukraine - I can’t even pronounce it let alone spell it – Mission). They live in N Kansas City, (20 min away). He’s going to school, working at a Credit Union & serving in the Elder’s Quorum Presidency. Jeni graduates college Dec 12th & is serving as the Primary chorister.
Anastasia is living & working in Orem, UT; she also has a part time job in Salt Lake City.
Too many callings in the church before and since I was inactive to list, everything from Relief Society to Primary Pres and all in between; including everything in Cub Scouts & even the building cleaning crew supervisor. Presently I’m the Ward Single Adult Rep, a Primary worker and a Visiting Teacher (of course).
I became the unofficial secretary for the Utah Salt Lake City Mission (the Cooley years) when I served on the Mission Reunion Committee 2008. I have continued to search for the many missing missionaries and hope to one day account for all who served in the mission under President and Sister Cooley. If I haven’t been in touch with you, please call or email me and let’s get you on the Directory List so you can stay in touch with all your Mission friends and companions.
Other companions I served with: Barbara Grady, Bobbie Therkildsen, Karen Gulbranson, Maureen Thompson, and Linda Schipper. |
