Elder Richard Fordham works in Salt Lake City as a Utah State Trooper. He was standing outside his patrol car last Sunday evening while assisting another trooper clear up an accident scene when a car struck him. He was life-flighted to LDS Hospital. I went to see him at the hospital today. He has already had one surgery and will be going in tomorrow for another. His legs are badly hurt. Seems as though he will be in the hospital for another week or so. Please keep him and his wife and their 9-month old child in your prayers. I will say this though, he was the same old Fordham you would expect!
