Dear Sisters.

Last year was a very exciting year for us. Highlight of the year was the birth of our daughter Milla on the 27th of July 2007. She is now 5 months old and incredibly fit. She rolls around the room; she is getting her first teeth and knows exactly when she needs someone to play with.

Ben (2 ½) plays with her once in a while. Luckily Milla doesn’t know what it means to be hit and pushed, because then she wouldn’t take it so far. Sometimes he takes out his doctor’s suitcase and explains her ”Your ears are healthy, your heart is beating” etc. After we thought he cannot catch on with the other kids were taught differently, now whoever comes too close gets pushed away. Ben loves to sing at church, he greets everyone calling them by name and loves to say “thank you” and “please”, in these moments we forget that he is in the middle of his terrible twoes.

Paul decided to become a Nephrologist. He is almost done with school. His last tests will be done by coming January; beginning February he will start his 4th year rotation at the military hospital in Ulm. He also tries to finish his dissertation by this time.

And I am always on the road with the kids, so Ben can see something different and he doesn’t have to be bored at home. Twice a week we go to playgroup , which I help to plan once in a while. Milla also enjoys coming with us. Caring about our family keeps my life exciting, I am happy everyone is in good health. We are blessed with everything we need and Paul has the chance to go to school so he can care for our family in the future.

We wish everyone for next year god’s blessing and his joy for your life.

Love, Regine
