I have been blessed with 7 wonderful children (1 girl and 6 boys!) and have 5 grandchildren to date (2006)! I married by wife Linda in 1977 and graduated from BYU with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering in 1980. I worked for John Deere starting in 1977 (cooperative education program) until 1986, then for Onan in the twin cities until and 1990 when I came to work for Positech in the small town of Laurens, Iowa (population 1,500!). It has been wonderful to be in a small town and have a big city job (so to speak) as an engineer. I manage the engineering department and am one of several owners of the company I work for. We build material handling equipment and are constantly designing new tools and custom equipment for such companies as John Deere, Caterpillar, etc. I have a wonderful wife and we have remained very active in the church serving at branch, ward and stake levels. All of our boys to date have served missions and 3 of our children have married in them temple. We truly have been blessed! |
