I am a teacher and author and get the shakes everytime I think of Venezuela. It was an interesting time in my life. I loved the people in every area I served, but I have vivid memories of the corruption and vilolence that rocked that country at times. I saw true poverty; there are times I sit in the living room of my house very thankful for all of my many blessings. The faith and determination of all of the people I met in Venezuela had a powerful impact on me and has forever changed my life. I have great memories of all of my companions and hope they won't hesitate to drop me a line.
I have been married for over 15 years now (1991) to Kara (yes, she was still here when I got home!) and have four children (3 boys and 1 girl). |
