Jason has been on his mission since 04/13/04. He loves the work he is doing and is surprized at how fast the time is going.
He is currently in Poulsbo, north of bremerton with Elder Matthews, who has been out about the same amount of time. About two months ago some friends from our home ward were in the area and got permission to to take Jason and Elder Willis, his previous companion in Kingston out to lunch to an "all you can eat" Mexican resteraunt. Needless to say the owner lost money that day. Our friends said "man those elders can eat."
I'm amazed at the changes that have come over him on his mission and his determination to serve the lord. he has loved serving with all of his companions, although Elder Willis got a little trunky the last two weeks of his mission. I'm glad he is in a high expectation mission. The results speak for themselves. The lord will bless the missionaries when they are willing to work hard.
