After coming home from my mission in 1994, I returned to Brigham Young University. I graduated in 1996 with a BS in computer science. I worked for IBM in Boulder, CO, until 1997. Then I worked for Wirthin Worldwide in Orem, UT, until 1998. I entered law school at the University of Utah in 1998. I married in 2001. I also graduated from law school in 2001. I passed the California state bar and the U.S. patent bar in 2001. I now work as a patent attorney at a law firm in San Jose, CA.
I have three sons (one is a step-son).
