Since the WMM, I've: married the great 'Sister Smurthwaite', got 4 amazing little people running around (Kristen, Josh, Amy, Kaeli), moved a bunch, enjoyed a few careers... and still a lot to learn. Always a lot to do, a lot to balance, a lot to remember - but when the focus is in the right place, it's all good.
A little trivia: between me, Lisa, my cousin Robbie Garrett, and then my brother Ben, we had someone in the WMM almost continuously for 7+ years! It was funny to see how the 'traditions' passed down from 'father to son' stayed in the mission for generations...
I think about and miss the ties I have with those of you I've known, and would love to hear from you from time to time. God bless... |
