Shelby Part I 24 Jul 2003
Shelby PART I This is a story about a man name Shelby. My companion and I were serving on the north side of Milwaukee. We received one of those referals from the MTC where someone calls in asking for a video or Book of Mormon. We got the call for the referal at 8:30 in the morning. We decided to go right over to drop off the Video. We road our bikes right over got to his house about 9:30am and knocked on his door. This big black man opened the door. We told him who we were and what we had brought. Much to his surprise he let us in and began telling us how surprised he was we were already there. He went on to tell us that he had been up in the night in his basement after a fight with his wife. He was watching television when this ad came on for this video. He said this was 1:00 am. Only 8 and half hours earlier. He said when he got off the phone to order the video he saw in his head two white guys dressed in white shirts and ties. Then when the door bell rang he had the same picture come to his mind only to answer the door and find us standing there. Do you want to here the rest of the story?
