Comments:
I was the first sister called to Hong Kong after many of the sisters had been shipped out due to riots in early 1968. Being Pres. Hardy's secretary was a wonderful experience, & I prayed much to locate lost files. Elder Joe Layton showed the sisters a ring he bought to take home to someone in Safford, AZ. I thought that was a "dumb name for a town" and ended up coming to AZ to teach school, married Brian and have lived in Safford ever since. We have 5 children, 9 grandchildren, & still love the Gospel and service in the Church. I'm currently Stake RS President and Brian is 1st Counselor in the bishopric, again.
