Comments:
I'm lucky to be part of a Chinese-missionary family, including my husband (Hong Kong - President Wheat), youngest brother Rusty (Hong Kong - President Goo), his wife Jennifer (Hong Kong - President Tai), and a brother-in-law who served in Taipei, Taiwan.
I've also tried my hand at Mandarin when I taught English in Beijing (1989-90) as an exchange professor with BYU. I taught ESL in Salt Lake for 9 years before that, then spent 14 years at Olympus Jr High teaching English and drama. I'm currently doing Family History research full time (my husband said he never saw me over the stacks of papers to grade) and life is good!
