David L. Lowe, 45, assigned to the Hong Kong Mission; Los Altos 1st Ward, Los Altos California Stake; bishop of Stanford 3rd Ward, former stake president's counselor, high councilor, stake Young Men president, bishop's counselor, and ward Young Men president; served in Southern Far East Mission, 1966-68; attorney; received bachelor's degree from BYU and juris doctorate from the University of California-Hastings; born in Logan, Utah, a son of Ray Dean and Helen Mae Leishman Lowe; married Anita Christine Bell, six children. She is a ward Young Women adviser, former stake Primary president's counselor, stake girls camp leader, ward Primary president's counselor, ward Young Women president's counselor, Relief Society teacher and secretary, Sunday School teacher, and seminary teacher; attended Fullerton College and BYU; born in Lynwood, Calif., a daughter of Preston Bernhisel and Frances Caroline Robinson Bell.
