I'm Jake Tomlinson. I live in Rexburg, Idaho with my beautiful wife (of 8 years) Mandi. We don't have any children (we've been trying, but it hasen't worked out for us yet). I am the General Manager of an awesome restaurant called Pizza Pie Cafe. It is growing like crazy (we are selling franchises) and doing very well. I LOVED CT and RI. I have wanted to get back and visit, but haven't had the chance yet. The mission was some of the best and worst experiences of my life and helped make me the person that I am today. I miss many of the friends that I made while serving (even though I'm horrible at keeping in contact with people). I've had some great times and some horrible times in my life since the mission, but my testimony is as strong as ever. I know that this Church is TRUE and am so greatful for the chance I had to serve a mission. I love the knowledge the gospel brings to my life and the knowledge that my wife and I will be together FOREVER. The Plan of Salvation is real (hard at times. It's too easy to make mistakes.) But repentance is possible and real (believe me, I know) and I am SO THANKFUL for that. :-) |
