History: Graduated from BYU 1975. Am retired from the Boeing Co. in Seattle. Married Pam in '83. Six children; Dan (Eleanor) 27 (Chile '03-'05), Eric, 24 (Nicaragua '04-'06), Jean 24 (Sean), Anne 23 (Josh), Jeff 20 (Puerto Rico San Juan Mission) and David 20 (England London Mission).
I was in the first group of elders called to the new Ecuador Mission (previously part of the Andes Peru Mission). There were three small branches in Quito, one in Otavalo, one in Ambato, and four in Guayaquil. We were approx. 25 missionaries with about 1,200 members. What memories! The Work accented by heat, bugs, tear gas, and Elder Stark's Vietnam stories. But more, a place where we all traveled the path of strengthening testimonies and learning to do what the Lord required. Everything good I've had in life came from serving a mission. My wife served in Italy Milano Mission, but cannot beat my bug stories.
