In 1997, the piano "called" to me. I felt that I should practice to be able to play in church. Then, in 2000, I was called to be the Primary pianist. I had to practice diligently all week to be able to play adequately on Sunday. With time, I got better. Then, I got a key to the ward organ, and went over to practice from time to time. I started taking organ lessons in 2001. My teacher gave my name to the Oakland temple staff, which led to my acceptance of a call to play the organ in the temple's assembly chapel once a month. |
