We recently moved... again! I just finished an Air Force exchange program to study an MBA taught by the University of Hong Kong in Shanghai China. We had one year of Chinese language training from 2006-07 (a 10-month long MTC!), then we lived in Shanghai from 2007-09.
We traveled extensively within China and were also able to visit Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam during our two years there. Amazingly, during our travels throughout China and Southeast Asia, I had multiple opportunities to speak... German!

We now have three girls with our youngest being born in Shanghai. Our girls are now 5, 3 1/2, and 1 1/2.
I'm currently assigned to the Pentagon and so we're living in Northern Virginia again! This is a homecoming of sorts for me, as I grew up 10 miles south of our current home and we were here a couple years ago for language training.
