Presidents: John Richard Hill (2000 - 2003) | | Served: 2001 - 2002 | Areas Served: Tsarahonenana,
Ankorondrano | Companions: Brett B. Ferre | Lua Tonga | | Your Occupation: surviving student | Comments: I was in Madagascar for almost a full year before the deportation. I was reassigned to the Salt Lake City mission, proselyting. I miss Madagascar, especially the people. I learned to love them like they were my own family. While I was in Utah I met a sweet 73-yr-old sister who became my "fairy godmother" and she is taking me back for a trip to Paris and then Madagascar in December. I'll be traveling from the 6th to the 21st, and the last week I'll spend in Madagascar! I am so excited and grateful for this chance to return to the land that has become my second home--I loved the missionaries, the members, the non-members, President and Sister Hill, etc, etc, etc. I still dream of Mada at night.
So anyone who would like me to pick something up for them, or who has people they'd like to give something to, I believe in the "share the wealth" program--you just let me know, and I'll do what I can to help!
Mahareza!

| LDS QUOTE: |
|
"Wouldnt this be a good time for a little self-evaluation to determine if we still have the same relationship with our Father in Heaven that we enjoyed in the mission field? If the world has diverted us from the practice of prayer, we then have lost a great spiritual power. Maybe it is time that we rekindle our missionary spirit through more frequent, consistent, and mighty prayer."
