One month after my mission, I married Sherwin Jamison. I taught school for two years and then stayed home when our children arrived. My husband was station with the Air Force in Hawaii from 1964 to 1967. We were so happy to get to see the Japanese members that came to the Hawaii Temple in 1965 and 1967. We enjoy service in the Church.I have served as Relief Society President in four different units. Am very happy with my present calling as Ward Family History Consultant. I have written and printed two family histories. We have two sons and one daughter and five grandchildren. Both of our sons served missions. One served in the Japan-Nagoya Mission. My husband plans to retire this year and we would like to serve as senior missionaries.
Francis Tilby served in Okamachi from May 1961 until November 1961. Others serving in Okamachi at the same time were: Wayne Sabey, David Kaneko, and Arvin Palmer. Sister Forbes was stilll there when Tilby arrived. Sister Carolyn Bingham arrived at Okamachi the same time that Tilby did. Sister Forbes was replaced by Sister Eleanor Jeo after May 1961.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
