Comments:
ffib I have been the Bishop of the Kahala Ward since November of 2003. I served NFEM from August 1961 to February 1964.
My companions were Richardson Mills from Aug 61 to Sep 61, then Rodney Zaugg, from Sept 61 to Oct 61 in Otaru Branch, then was transferred to Kofu Branch where my companion was Ronald Fuchigami from Oct 61 to Dec 61. In Jan 62 I was transferred to Fukuoka Branch where my companion again was Richardson Mills, then was paired with Curtis Kanekoa till Aug 62 when I was transferred to Tokyo South and paired with Ken Norton. Later I was paired with Kenneth Oscar Jones, and upon him getting sick was paired with Yasuo Niiyama. I was transferred to Sapporo as Supervising Elder in April of 63 and paired with with Donald Hicken, and lastly with Kent Rampton.

During my mission in Kofu, the other missionaries were Yoshihiko Kikuchi and Elder Larson. When I was in Sapporo, the Muroran Branch where Elder Kikuchi was from was a branch under my supervising. There I met future Sister Kikuchi.
I appreciate whoever is maintaining this website.
Aloha, Hilton Lui
Roy Tsuya's wife's older sister while serving as a missionary in Hawaii was
instrumental in having my mother join the church in 1940. When I
attended the U of U from 1964 to 1967 we all attended Dai
Ichi Br. together. His younger brother who was a member of my ward
just passed away. Thanks for sharing that. My other friend is Arthur
Nishimoto who also served in Fukuoka. Both of them were members of the
442nd. When I was a Captain in the Army Arthur and I were assigned to
the same duty Station. He retired as a full Colonel. Aloha, Hilton

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
