Last week 02-10-02 I was in Japan and I saw Brother Aki in the Tokyo Temple. He was the branch president of the Nishinomiya Branch in the early 1960’s. I also ran into President Ohnuma the current stake pres. of the Sendai Stake in Yamagata. I was one of the elders who taught him. President Ohnuma is searching for Elder Gary Petersen. I am not quite sure on the spelling. He also served in Yamagata at the time I was there and the main elder who taught President Ohnuma.
President Ohnuma has a PhD and is one of the most prominent scientist in Japan. Thank you.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
