Comments:
Forgot to mention that Wally Haraguchi's mother, who many knew and loved at BYU where she supported Wally and his Brother George for a time, passed away January 6, this year. She waited a long time to rejoin Wally's father, who died while Wally was on his mission, and Wally's brother George who died while a student at BYU. Brother Horiuchi conducted George's funeral, one of the most emotional I ever attended, in which he read the talk he gave. It began: 'Dear Mom..' and was a letter dictated by George through Brother Horiuchi. It contained references known only to Sister Haraguchi. President Palmer said he knew then that Brother Horiuchi would become a Mission President. God bless, Roger Lewis
Wally Haraguchi has retired from the US Dept of Commerce in Wash. DC. He lives in Arlington VA. If I understood
correctly he has 6 kids. He is married to Mano Choro's sister.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
