We are still in the Bay Area and loving it. Steve manages the mega design-build pursuits for his firm, including CA High Speed Rail. He travels throughout the west quite a bit, but manages to make it to almost every swim meet, basketball game and track meet.
Our kids are growing up too fast - Olivia will turn 12 in August and is so excited to be in middle school and entering YW. Jack is almost 8 and looking forward to being baptized this summer. Our "baby", Grant, is not a baby anymore, and is starting kindergarten in the fall. The kids keep us busy, and our house is full of activity! Life is good! I'm serving in the RS Presidency over Education, am the PTA president at the kids' school, and am freelance writing for a local paper. Between that, carpools, sports, laundry, etc. there isn't much free time!
I'd love to hear from anyone I served with, or to hear news of what's happening in the islands now! |
