| An obvious responsibility of a District leader in the Zion Dixie zone is to be the presiding priesthood for the sisters. Any of you who have been down in St. George know that the sisters all lived in the housing adjacent to the Temple. Anyway, Tania Blomeart(sorry Tania for the spelling) called and needed a blessing so Elder Beveridge and I jumped in our car and drove down from Dixie Downs. As we are strolling through the residences to fing the correct house we glimpsed over. There was Dana Killinger in her evening attire sitting on the floor of her living room. I'm not sure what she was doing, but I seem to remember she was doing her nails or some other form of grooming. Regardless, as we walked by we made eye contact because her curtains were open and the light was on, making the room easily visible from outside. Dana shot up so fast with eyes larger then the infamous Utah big hair. She kinda let out this half yelp of embarassment and half scream of shear terror and quiker then you can imagine pulled those blinds closed. I still to this day find this funny. The sight of one of the Sisters in the mission who is such a proper debutante of the south, caught so completely out of her element and in her little nighty (missionary appropriate attire, of course!). I'm sure she never intended any man to see her let alone an Elder but the image has for ever scared me and to this day effects my mental health!! Joking of course Dana, you looked fine, just totally ready for bed. Funny times down in Zion Dixie. Cheers to Dana and all the rest of my favorite Sisters. Mail me and say hello.
