Clowning Around in Bangkok 12 Jul 2003
Our friend and fellow missionary, Timothy R. Torkildson, is no longer clowning around in Bangkok as a missionary. He is currently fighting for survival in the Big Mango where he's down to his last 5000 baht. He'd like your opinion on a life decision. Please take a look at http://www.BangkokBulletin.com, and while you're there, enjoy some of his tall tales, like what it was like doing "Business Tracting" as a missionary in Thailand in 1975.

Thanks.

Embedded reporter 30 Apr 2003
As of a few months ago, Timothy Robert Torkildson, former professional clown with Ringling Bros., and missionary in Thailand from 1975-77, is an "embedded" journalist in the soi-by-soi battles in Bangkok. He writes an entertaining daily email version of the Bangkok Bulletin that I very much enjoy and find quite interesting. You may email him to request addition to his list: Tim@BangkokBulletin.com. You may also want to check out a forthcoming (under construction) online version of his bulletin that contains a few of his in-the-field submissions, at: www.BangkokBulletin.com.

Now serving their country 07 Apr 2003
I would be interested in knowing of any alumni currently serving as soldiers in Iraq or other locations that place them away from their families and homes. We do, after all, share a special bond as former Thailand missionaries.
